We do not choose fleeting business contacts; we aim for long-term, honest relationships. It is crucial to us that everyone involved in our production process works under equal and fair working conditions. Therefore, we regularly visit our production partners in both Europe and the Far East to personally ensure that working conditions meet our high standards.
As a supplier of RetailBags.co.uk / API Caropack Europe BV, the undersigned undertakes to conduct business in a socially and ethically responsible manner, in accordance with the requirements of SA 8000. Below is an explanation of the specific points included in the code of conduct to be signed, each with its own sub-name:
- Minimum Age for Employees We will not employ any workers who have not reached the minimum age required by law or are younger than 15 years old.
- Prohibition of Forced Labor Any form of forced or compulsory labor is prohibited in our company.
- Safe and Healthy Work Environment We guarantee a safe and healthy working environment for every employee.
- Open and Honest Dialogue We are committed to an open and honest dialogue with all stakeholders in our activities.
- Non-Discrimination Policy Any form of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, political opinion, nationality, disability, union membership, or anything else is prohibited.
- Respectful Discipline We guarantee that discipline in the workplace is not enforced through mental, physical, or verbal abuse.
- Compliance with Local Legislation We respect local legislation regarding working hours.
- Fair Compensation We respect the prevailing wage scales for each employee, both for the basic wage and for overtime compensation.

- Enforcement Tools We aim to acquire tools that ensure compliance with the above points. These can be internal audits, training, guidelines, systems for reporting and feedback, and other procedures or tools that help to monitor, assess, and continuously improve compliance with ethical, social, and environmental standards.
