This is the privacy statement of RetailBags.nl and its associated labels. In this statement we explain how we deal with the personal data we obtain in our contact with you. RetailBags.nl complies with the provisions of the European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Collected personal data
We do our utmost to protect your data. We need personal data in order to guarantee our service to you. RetailBags.nl processes this personal information because you use our services and / or because you yourself provide the data to us.
RetailBags processes data for the following purposes:
- The provision and billing of our services;
- Sending our newsletters;
- Processing your order and inform you about the progress of it;
- Taking steps to improve the service and providing information or offers.
Minors
RetailBags.nl does not intend to collect data from persons under the age of 18. We therefore do not offer services to minors. We advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data of children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data of a minor without that consent, please contact us. We will then delete these data.
Security
For data transmission, we use the so-called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security system in conjunction with 128/256-bit encryption. This technology offers the highest level of security and is therefore also used by banks, for example. All payment methods offered by us are extensively secured by the above-mentioned standard. You can check if your data is being transmitted encrypted by checking the symbol of a key or a closed lock in the URL bar of your browser.
Details of website visits
We receive data based on your visit to our website, for examples: cookies. We use these data to get a better picture of our customers and to develop and adapt our services and website to your personal preferences. Based on your search behaviour, previous orders and cookies, we try to show products that match your interests.
On the website, we use Google Analytics to analyze the functioning of the website and to measure the efficiency of traffic sources. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. The data Google collects is made anonymous as much as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not given.
Delivering an order
For us to be able to deliver your order correctly, we ask for personal data such as your name, e-mail address, company name, CC or KvK number, VAT number, address and telephone number. We’ll forward your name, address, company name and e-mail to our courier in order to be able to deliver the shipment.
Payment
If you choose to pay by invoice, it’s possible that we check your creditworthiness with an external agency. We do not forward any personal data, but instead request a credit score based on the company name.
If you fail to pay an invoice, we may forward your details to an external agency, which will try to collect the invoice on our behalf.
Cookies

Data storage period
After termination of our services, we store some data on the basis of a legal retention period. We remove data that is no longer necessary. After the legal retention period, we destroy all data.
You have the right to view your personal after you have terminated your service with us. You can submit a request for acces, change or removal of these data by contacting us. To ensure that this request has been made by you, we ask you to enclose some proof of identity with the request. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, preferably within four weeks.
Sharing with others
RetailBags.nl never shares your data with third parties unless this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Viewing and adjusting data
You have the right to request access to and correction/deletion of your data. In order to do so, please contact us. To prevent abuse, we may ask you to adequately identify yourself.
